Dollar Store MARKER Challenge

In what I'm calling the "Dollar Store Marker Challenge," I went to the local Dollar Tree and bought $4 of art supplies. I got two packs of JOT markers, a black Sharpie, and a pack of colored mechanical pencils. I decided to draw Darth Maul, one of my favorite Star Wars Characters, but I have done better Darth Maul sketches. The mechanical colored pencils *are not* a good deal, because they only give you ONE lead per pencil. It's much more bang for the buck to go with a regular colored pencil, though the ones from the dollar store aka "liquid mark" are notoriously bad.

If only college art let us use colored pencils or alcohol markers. Paint isnt my thing. Besides I'm a fashion student not anything else. I also do art as well. I just do my best. If only i could draw what I want to. Also dollar store stuff can also work when you're broke as heck

You can actually use the marker like a watercolor.
