No Talk, All Tone- The Eventide H9 Synth Sounds Demo 2020
Показать описание
This is my second attempt at a guitar pedal demo video, all of which were made about the deepest pedal i have ever encountered, The Eventide H9. In this video i dive into the sounds this guitar pedal makes that are completely unlike a guitar.
I know you guys aren't watching this video to hear me talk, but to hear the pedal sing, so that's how I made it. No Talk, All Tone!
I tried to keep it as short as possible and still explore all the synthy possibilities of this wonderful science fiction pedal, but this demo only scratches the surface. I learned a lot of things from this second video of mine, like even though it's 12 thirty second riffs to remember, I should actually rehearse them before recording it and putting my room back together! Please forgive my sloppy amateurism, I was really figuring out how to do this while i was doing it.
But anyway, I hope you like it!
Thanks for watching!
For those of you who are interested in the technical and recording details:
Recorded in Avid Protools 11 with a UA Apollo QUAD
Signal chain is as follows:
PRS Custom 24-
Orange Rocker 32 with stereo effects loop (Face-melting)-
FX loop out to EVENTIDE H9, Back into amp in stereo-
Stereo Pair of Shure SM57's-
Wunder Audio PAfour plus-
United Audio Apollo Quad-
A hint of UA LA2A plug in compression, to maintain order of the amplitude-
Whatever sounds left from all the video editing-
The quiet sounds of billions of ones and zeros bustling around the internet-
Whatever grimy or glorious speakers you're listening to it on!
