The SCARIEST RIDES in the UK!?

There are various UK rides and rollercoasters that are either extremely fast, tall or go upside down an insane amount of times, that a lot of people deem the scariest rides in the country! I'm here to give my list on what i think are the scariest rides in the United Kingdom, including rides from Alton Towers, Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Thorpe Park!

I also explain a brief version of the 'I cried on Nemesis when i was 9' story so enjoy!

when I first did nemesis I did the exact same ... I was crying the whole queue then came of loving it (the biggest rides i had done before this was vampire and big dipper)

tbh oblivion was absolutely terrifying when I was a kid. I had nightmares for months after that where I fell down a hole. Great vid as always

When I was like 10 I had never done a loop coaster so I decided to be the first rider that day I got off and hated it

I’m gonna be honest, I’m *short* and I am lower than 1.4m, meaning I’m not tall enough for
The Smiler but from what I see when I go to Alton Towers is just mental seeing all the inversions, screens and even the soundtrack scares the hecc outta me 🫥

nemesis was my first ride ever — my friends were convincing me that fair rides are worse but i didnt believe them, we got on nemesis as the queue was only 5 minutes and i got off and said " wait, was that it? " and after that i was fine on all the rides

Octonauts, I had a months worth of nightmares post riding it. Absolutely TERRIFYING!!!
During the long queue and the build up to this intense ride, I usually have to have a 10 minute breather to relax myself. Otherwise I curl up onto the concrete floor and scream, whooping with tears.

The ultimate at lightwater vally was definitely a big one for me. It was my first big coaster and I remember crapping myself looking at the first lift hill but then I loved it and now I look silly talking about rollercoasters all day

In terms of the first time riding, I think Hex probably scared me the most. Not because of the ride itself, but the pre-show freaked me out, and I remember someone there telling me that they’d gone for a walk in the woods and found the real chained oak. So naturally my younger self took one look at that branch in the centre and thought I was actually going to get cursed by this ride! Of course, it’s now my favourite ride in the park, and the use of real local folklore is a stroke of genius

Odyssey because you go up that lift and all you can think is "ah fuck, not this again."

2:30mins, I was going on nemesis at the age of 9 and I thought “I’m gonna do it”. Got onto the ride. LITERALLY 5 SECONDS on being sat on the ride waiting to go, “nope I can’t do this” so I got off and walked back to the bench with my mum
