If you start playing, I don't recommend going straight to Natlan. There is so much story you miss doing that and Genshin has an outstanding story. It's worth taking your time and exploring the world and the story.

Genshin Impact has been out for almost 4 years now, so there's an abundance of content. To the music of different cultures, their characters and stories in those regions, and hours and hours of open-world exploration! Natlan is a region that will be released on the 28th August next week! Would love to watch your interpretation of Natlan if you do wish to play the game, you have a relaxed and likeable personality so I think many other people would enjoy your content too! Have a good day! Subscribed!

Was listening to your breakdown of the Natlan Symphony lyrics and this popped up!!! Happy to see you making more content about Genshin (somehow I’m feeling really proud of the game at the moment hahahaha I’m always recommending it (AND ITS MUSIC) to people.) I’ve subscribed and am looking forward to watching more of your reactions!!!

One of the main advice I would give is don't rush because of Youtube comments and enjoy the game for yourself. Genshin has 5 countries in game (Natlan is 6th which is releasing at 28th) each loosely based on real countries and every country music is combination of that country music, for example last country is Fontaine which is based on France so Fontaine music contains lot of French music instruments. Also Genshin monetization is free but has gacha/gambling (pulling for character) but you don't have to spend money to get characters by playing/exploring in-game.

One other note is Genshin don't do copyright strikes for any of their official videos so, you don't have to crop the video.
Thanks for video, See you in Natlan

Also, I wanted to add - if you ever play the game, do take it slow! There is TONS of content in there, and I always tell my friends that Genshin is a marathon, not a sprint. (It’s impossible to sprint that fast anyway). I’ve played for around 10 months now and I’ve only just managed to clear 70% of the content? And I play a little every day!!

The reason why this game is amazing is that there’s something for EVERYONE. Personally, for me, the music was what got me into the game (like you!). I was working backstage for one of the Genshin concerts last year and had the pleasure of listening to the music on loop and live! And after five days of that I caved and finally decided to download the game heh.

What got me to stay though, was the incredible storytelling! Genshin has one of the deepest and most meaningful storytelling I’ve seen in games - they’ve explored topics from your typical fantasy adventures, to even things like mental health and real life issues. Honestly imma say that it’s not a game meant for kids HAHAHA with the depth of topics explored!

Aside from that, there are people who play it to collect characters (all the playable characters are voiced by amazing voice actors and you get to hear them say good night /good morning/tell stories to you if you are into that -swoon-). To explore the open world (you can climb trees! Cliffs! Swim! Dive! Set grass on fire!!!). To learn a different language (from the voiced cutscenes, especially!). To build their own little house (like in the sims) and arrange furniture and gardens and stuff. To build characters and showcase big amazing damage numbers in the dungeons. To enjoy the fighting system (it works based on elemental reactions; fire reacts with ice to form a reaction called “melt”, for example.)

I could go on and on! That’s what amazes me about Genshin - there’s literally something for everyone!!! And it’s probably the reason why they’ve been so successful hehe. And it’s not targeted towards any particular gender or age group as well.

I’m honestly glad that I decided to start playing it, and I’m excited for you to start your journey in Teyvat too!!! Enjoy!!

2:23 You played Ys seven?? What a man of culture! You definitely have to check out Ys VIII too if you haven’t already! It’s one of the best JRPGs with one of the best soundtracks!

Honestly, I think more than anything, you should react to the other Symphonies. Genshin currently has five other nations besides Natlan, and four of them have Live Symphony videos on the official Genshin YT channel

Liyue is themed after China
Inazuma after Japan
Sumeru after parts of Southwest Asia/North Africa
and Fontaine after France and other European influences

Their four symphonies are just as beautiful and representative of traditional music from other real countries as the Natlan symphony was, so I feel like you'd thoroughly enjoy them even if you yourself aren't native to their real world countries of inspiration. Plus if you're truly interested in playing the game, the Symphonies will be the perfect way for a musician to get a feel for the vibe of each in-game nation that you'll encounter before Natlan!

loved your reaciton + breakdown of the natlan symphony (and this video too)! as some other comments have pointed out the game is actually already out (came out in 2020) and has been consistently adding updates since, with 1 new region/country being added to the game each year - natlan is this years addition and is releasing next week!

a few things to know:
- because its been out so long there is a LOT of content, which is a good thing! just means it will take a while to experience everything
- it is what is known as a 'gacha' game, meaning there are gambling mechanics (which is how you obtain characters)
- it has a lot of indepth systems and may be challenging to understand at the start (was for me) but its worth it

also - because theyve added new countries in the past, there are also symphony performances of music for them too! I would love to see you react to the 'Sumeru Symphony Orchestra', which is inspired by the middle east and south asia

love that ive discovered this channel and would love to see more content, a new perspective on genshin is much appreciated but your other content is also great!

Take it slow and don't skip to natlan, also after it releases (after 28/8/2024) is a good time to start because the game is handing free stuffs.

I enjoyed your past video of the Natlan Genshin Impact music reaction, it was an interesting perspective.

I would suggest playing when it’s convenient.

I would play through the nations in the order of Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine, and then lastly Natlan. So you have a greater understanding and appreciation for the story by the time you get to Natlan. I assume Natlan would be good even if someone skipped most the story but I think it’d be many times better if they experienced the whole story first.

I would not rush. The game is very pretty, relaxing, and has a great story. The charm from the game comes from playing at your own pace, exploring, doing quests at your leisure, and enjoying the characters/story they present. It’s largely a story based adventure game. It has combat, but that’s not really their ‘core’ focus, so I would not go in expecting something intensely difficult. Which allows one to enjoy the game with the characters you like. They give you characters for free so you can beat the content with them and not need any others unless you personally would just like to play as other characters.

I’m not sure which language you prefer the voices in. That said they also have very high quality trailers and demos for the characters on youtube.

I suggest reacting to character demos too! Could get a lot of views, and they are really great. They begin pretty basic but they evolve into epic cinematics pretty fast. Hoyoverse doesn't even claim copyright
There are also character teasers (they are drawn cinematics) and version trailers (1.0-5.0)

genshin have like 60h of just main story . if you include main + side stories it will be like 140h of gameplay
if we include all things from the story to the explorations to everything it will be more then 300h before you see natlan

The new region of Natlan will release at 28th August. There you can "Quick Start" at Natlan if you already completed the Archon Quests of the two regions which are basically the main story. It will give you an insight of this game. So, you don't need to rush. Just feel free to explore this game to your heart's content. There is A LOT to explore

long time Genshin player here (been playing since launch). my tips are to take the game *very* slowly. it really is about the journey, not the destination. this game is a little notorious for burnout due to the sheer amount of content so make sure to take plenty of breaks. also, avoid the fandom at all costs, at least the louder part. in their eyes if you aren't playing the game how they play it, then you are wrong. i have a friend that was constantly told that their character builds were wrong and now the game isn't fun for them anymore

You should react to 5.0 trailer. It gives you a good look at Natlan region and the current state of the story. Or you could watch the version trailers from 1.0 all the way to 5.0

I do recommend watching version trailers before character demos, though. It briefly introduces the new characters and contents. Then you watch Teaser/Demo to understand the characters more.

I think you can react to the other Symphonies in genshin impact :)

Fontaine Symphony:

Sumeru Symphony:

Liyue Symphony:

Boss Theme :

Absolutio Absoluta Absolutissime (Arlecchino Battle theme):

Polumnia Omnia (Scaramouche Battle theme):

Genshin is story driven game like GOW or Pokemon if you want some context.
It's very different with competitive game like FIFA or COD where you test your skill and have fun with friends. It more like you're going to watch a story in form of game.
If you sir going to try it, be our guest! But just like any stories it might not be to your liking and that's completely fine.
