'Kings of the World' featuring Gipsy Royale 2015 - Part 1

"Kings of the World" is a new film about the world of Gipsy music in Southern France. The clip features Gipsy Royale guitarist Mario Regis, Andre Reyes and Canut singing and some wonderful scenes of the life they lead in this unique world of music.

I am a Korean that moved to US in 1990s. My father and his family escaped the war and moved down to South Korea during 1950 Korea war. I am a normad and my family from father side as well. They eventually left South Korea and settled down in every place in the world.. This music shares our heart somehow who was forced to leave their home and wander in this world.. I love the Gipsies (Gitan) and their musics as they reflect our hearts.. In the end, we all don't belong to this world but somewhere eternal. The music is GREAT and their souls too..

Wow, just look at them, all the young girls dancing Flamenco style and children being taught guitar by their kin, with men on horseback, it’s a CULTURE. Out modern culture is selfishness and consumerism, and this gypsy lifestyle is so REFRESHING to see. Bless you all. And thank you for your passion and creativity.

you have literally centuries over 1000 years of gitano culture that comes out in their music. I am Italian and our family used Romani blessings and even had a gypsy phrase that my mother said to all of the kids to get us to eat. Flamenco speaks to deep places in all of us that are hard to verbalize.

I used the translator, Gipsy Kings generally built my whole life.I was an outcast punk, I stole, I lived like an idiot. but then I picked up my guitar. and there was a man who taught me to play the guitar. and now the teacher himself. and I teach Gipsy Kings to children myself. I work in a kids 'and teens' club. I earn very little. but I'm happy mentally. Thank you Gipsy kings!!

I was a little child in england many years ago. The gypsys came in their beautiful caravans to our village. They sang and danced and sold my mum handpainted wooden pegs annd jewellery. I dont know where these beautiful people came from but hearing this music is bringing back the memory of their visit ❤❤❤

I 'was born in France, but I followed my father all over the world. He used to say, "This is a new place, make it your homeland." When he retired, we settled in his birthplace, somewhere in South India. This was the beautiful grace given by God.

After he passed away, I had to come back to France, and today I’m still moving from place to place. But I miss my 'homeland.'

This music speaks to me and often leaves me speechless!
