HI i wrote this song earlier this month because i wanted to try experimenting with more electronic/trap type music!! i had SO much fun writing this song you have no idea. the lyrics are a lil edgier than my usual but honestly its ok bc the intro was so funny to work on

i have one more obligation to finish (the deadline is tomorrow) so once i'm done with that i'm going to try to go full steam ahead on working on thab songs!! thank you all so much for your patience !!

i feel like this song is about someone obsessed with a celebrity, but in the "i fucking hate you and want you dead" kind of way. gumi is an (what the fuck is the opposite of a stan) of miku and meets her at a party because she's a stalker. miku realizes that gumi is the girl whos been stalking her on the internet. miku calls her a freak because shes been harassed for so long. gumi responds by literally tearing miku's heart out and posting the gory photo online

the most chilling part of this is the background imo. Other people are taking pictures and it gives me the vibe that Gumi set up for Miku to die in the club, which is why she was breaking down to a degree

The bite marks on the heart remind me of when Olympic athletes bite their medals to make sure that they're made of real gold. Almost as if Gumi is showing off Miku's heart like a prize, or trying to "expose" her and prove that she's not an angel with a heart of gold.

The uncertainty whether the person signing "freak, you're such a freak" is Miku or just Gumi pitched up makes this so much cooler.

Because it makes it hard to tell if it's genuinly Miku snapping and defending herself by calling out Gumi; or if it's Gumi putting fake words in Miku's mouth to try and make her seem like a bad person.

If I knew how I would make a animatic for this bc it’s really good and paints a very disturbing picture of Stan and cancel culture where celebrities every move is watched and idolized and any moment of weakness is capitalized on and made viral. Mikus death here could very very well be metaphorical, a fate worse than death for someone in the entertainment industry and public eye. Or her rabid fans, specifically gumi, may have actually straight up killed her.
