This might not be what you are expecting.

A much more peaceful and stripped back clip to what you're used to seeing on this channel, I thought it'd be nice to show you what hard work goes on behind the scenes.

Taking my favourite timeless past-time, and adding a bit of a modern twist, I created a clip giving insight into a training session of a sprinter. The main focus being my 30-40 metre transition phase.

The gentle build up in speed of the runs act as a microcosm for the rehabilitation process faced by many athletes after injury, proving that nothing in the long-run is enough to hold anyone back.

Simply taking the time to slow down one of life's fastest moments creates something of pure wonder. I use this as a guide to many things in life. Changing a small component of something so complex, can end up to a huge overall effect. It's often the smallest things that have the greatest effect.

I had huge fun shooting this, and it should act nicely as preparation for a course I'm planning on taking at University.

Remember, one day your life will flash before your eyes, make sure it's worth watching.
