Sadly he died of Aids in March of 1994. He made a few great POP hits. That were full of positive energy, his songs made you want to dance. R.I.P. The 70's-mid 80's were far from perfect. But were a much happier time. Most people got a long too.

Vinnie Vincent who used to play with Kiss, is playing the guitar. GE Smith, who played with Hall & Oates and was also a band leader on Saturday night live is playing the bass. And last but not least, Dan Hartman. I absolutely loved Dan Hartman and I'm so sad that he passed away. RIP Dan

Dan was from my hometown. Had many great times dancing at pool parties, Legion and fire hall dances to his band The Legends. The Legends were recognized at the time as one of, if not the best, rock cover bands in the larger Central Pennsylvania area, as well as for performing their original material. Dan got his big break when asked to sit in with Edgar Winter, subsequently joining that group until lunching his solo career during the disco era. Dan left us way too soon... RIP Dan.

You have to do Vertigo/Relight my fire by Dan Hartman from 1979. You have to play the extended version, though. Amber will love it!! It's 1 of the best disco tracks imo. We we heard the very beginning of the hypnotic sound of Vertigo, we were on the floor in 2 seconds. It's a banger. You 2 are the bomb. Going thru a tough time with hubby's grave illness, & you bring a smile to my face every day. My brother sent me a reaction of yours, & I told him I watch you everyday & he should too. He's an old hippie 70. I told him your understanding & interpretation of the music is outstanding. Keep up the great reactions!! There's so much great music yet to discover!! Rock on 🤘

"Instant Replay" peaked @ #1 on the Disco chart on Oct. 14, 1978. That same week, it first appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 Pop chart eventually peaking @ #29 in January, 1979 and peaking @ #44 on the R&B chart. Check out Hartman's biggest club hit "Vertigo/Relight My Fire" which first charted in Nov. 1979 on the Disco chart -- then hit #1 for 6 weeks starting Jan. 12, 1980. Please do an extended version not a radio edit.
