Lembro-me de como ela foi criticada por esta apresentação. A mídia não perdoou nada, inclusive falavam do peso dela.
Apesar de ter sido bastante ridicularizada, hoje todos se recordam apenas dela: Britney Spears.
Superando todas as dificuldades do terrível ano 2007, Britney manteve-se no auge.
Uma apresentação aquém da qualidade Spears nunca manchará a carreira dela: "It's Britney, b**ch!"

I don't think any of us could ever forget the overwhelming amount of media coverage this performance received; it even made the cover of Entertainment Weekly. But strangely enough, one could argue that it never would have made the cover otherwise. Those who watched it afterwards largely felt the criticism was overblown. Sure, it wasn't by any means a great opening, but it wasn't the worst performance I've ever seen either. Aside from not living up to all the hype, Britney wasn't as present as she had been previously; it appeared like it was a first rehearsal as opposed to the final product and I think it's where a majority of the confusion came from.
Looking back on it now in terms of her career, she certainly didn't need to be on MTV to advertise the new album. This was practically the only promo she did for "Blackout" and it really wasn't necessary with respect to sales.
