The Tripp Trapp High Chair was designed over 50 years ago by Peter Opsvik. Peter's goal was to create a chair that allowed his entire family to bond during mealtime. While traditional highchairs are isolating, the Tripp Trapp can be pulled up right to the family dining table so the baby is never excluded from family bonding time. Along with bringing the baby to the table, the Tripp Trapp design is intended to provide comfort and support, resulting in children sitting happily for longer periods of time! The key to this is the Tripp Trapp's height-adjustable footrest. The Tripp Trapp can be converted to grow with children from 6 months throughout their entire childhood - we love it as adults too!
