In the old game when you win the Hogwarts Cup you also gain tickets for the World Cup. I wonder how it will work in the new game. I hope ‘career mode’ means you can play for a pro team before the World Cup

Here's my problem with the style - it's like they went with the generic Fortnight /Disney game cartoon style and it in no way feels like the HP world besides it being a quidditch game. This doesn't draw me in, it doesn't actually feel like the Harry Potter universe ...

good analysis otherwise, but ok yea no, so the "blue diamond" has to do with the rings and with the keeper (I've played 2 playtests). the keeper has the ability to send out those rings and the diamond indicates the direction the rings would be moving in. the rings give your broom a boost of speed, they basically made it so the keeper can help from all the way in the back.

To me, it looks like the ring and blue diamond you reference may be the direction the brooms pointed at and the one that moves is your throwing aim or look.

I haven’t followed this game at all so I don’t know if this is confirmed or denied already but I get the feeling that the Firebolt and/or Nimbus 2000 and/or Nimbus 2001 is/are gonna be pre-order bonuses/exclusives.
