Why Massimiliano Allegri To Milan IS A JOKE

Massimiliano Allegri's potential return to AC Milan to replace Sergio Conceição has sparked considerable debate. Allegri, who left Juventus in 2024, could bring tactical discipline and experience to a Milan side that has been inconsistent in recent seasons. However, I believe it's a bad move for several reasons. Firstly, Allegri's previous tenure at Milan wasn't without its challenges, as he often struggled with balancing the squad and maintaining fluid attacking play. His pragmatic style, while effective at Juventus, may not be the ideal fit for a Milan team that needs a more dynamic and modern approach to compete at the highest level.

Furthermore, his relationship with the club’s management and potential resistance from fans who desire a more progressive vision could complicate his return. With Milan needing a fresh start, Allegri's return might risk stagnating their growth rather than fostering innovation.

The reason Paratici and Allegri are at the forefront is because Elliott would not plan anything long term. These two would more or less stabilize Milan with some help from the market. "polish" up Milan then get it ready to sell it off again and push Cardinale Aside. This is NOT a project. This is a sell off.

Guys the problem is not Allegri or any other coaches, the problem is Furlani the snake. From when he ha all the power Milan is a total disaster, anche for the 1st time in 5 years next year they didn't play in Champions League. Furlani the snake is the main problem here. when a club is a disaster from the point of view of the management everything else takes a back seat. FURLANK THE SNAKE, (with 0 football experiances), controls everything in the club: he is the head of the sports area and the economic area; he chooses the players; he spends his time worrying about making propaganda in the newspapers trying to pass himself off as the good one instead of choosing people who know what they are doing, (but in that way he would lose power, so it cannot be done). as long as this individual remains at Milan it will be a disaster. You will see the very first season, the one that is about to end compared to the next one will seem to be of a good level..

Well said brother, you summed it up perfectly. I remember watching every minute of that 2010/11 season and while those were great memories that still give me goosebumps, especially because I watched many games with my grandpa may he rest in heaven, I don’t think what Massimiliano did was that special. Yes, I’m grateful for his service and for the scudetto, and he did what he had to. However, Serie A that year wasn’t particularly the most competitive. Allegri had Ibra at his prime who scored almost every single game (back then only Ibra, Totti, CR7, and Messi could win games on their own when they wanted to, maybe even Cavani at times), not to mention WC2006 champs of Nesta, Zambrotta, Gattuso, and Inzaghi. A young and fast Abate on the right, a young and healthy Thiago Silva arguably the best CB that year, a rock called Van Bommel, a surprise named KP Boateng, a fat but creative Cassano, a fantasista in Robinho, a golden boy named Pato, etc. so they were the real reason we won, not Allegri’s genius. In fact, he was a prime reason we lost Andrea Pirlo to Juventus, the best midfielder in the history of the game arguably and the best player in serie a for the following 3 consecutive years. Yes, thank you Allegri for 2010/11, but please stay away from my Milan. Enough heartaches.

I’m not sold on Sarri. He’s a coach who has no plan B if plan A is not working. He’s not tactically flexible and he’s not a coach who can handle players with big egos.

De Zerbi has grown during his time at Brighton and Marseille but his team concedes too many goals for me. Milan needs a coach who can build a team from the back.

This is why Allegri is needed. Because Milan front 3 really don’t need coaching. They know what to do but Milan defense and midfield needs to be stabilized and Allegri did that well at Milan and Juventus.

I also think we will see a different version of Allegri 2.0 but Milan will need to recruit players who are ready for the next level and not players who they will have to gamble on for Allegri to win and he knows how to win titles. This Milan team needs a top level coach who commands respect in the dressing room not another experiment. That’s what they should have done last summer if they decided to move on from Pioli.

Therefore my options would be Italiano or Francesco Farioli. I believe these coaches are worth taking a risk.

Italiano has the pedigree to stabilize a team as he should at Fiorentina and Bologna. He also has what it takes tactical to get to a cup finals both domestic and international level.

Bologna will be in Coppa Italia finals and his Fiorentina did get to 2 cup finals. With better players I believe he will win titles.

Its a tough one bro. This team needs a winner like Allegri to keep them in line but its a short term fix I agree. We’re falling too much behind, we need this fix ASAP

Hi, I watched your video, which is interesting, but unfortunately, there are some things I don't agree with in your analysis.

To begin with, I'm one of those who thinks Max Allegri is a good choice for Milan next season for several reasons.

First, considering what we've seen this season with big clubs like Juve, Milan, and Roma, these clubs have similarities regarding their start to the season. Beyond the fact that they had a poor start, they chose to bring in coaches who are more tacticians than managers capable of running a dressing room.

To succeed within these elite clubs, it's not enough to have a playing philosophy; you must above all have leadership that can motivate a squad. That's why coaches like Pioli or Allegri were able to succeed at Milan. They weren't the greatest tacticians, but they knew how to unite a squad around themselves. The current generation of Italian coaches are unfortunately more focused on how the team should play than how they should motivate the dressing room.

When you say that Allegri represents the past, I can understand you, but how do you explain Claudio Ranieri's success at Roma today? Ranieri doesn't have an attacking or defensive style of play, but relies on the individual qualities of his players and his leadership.

Secondly, Allegri is a good choice for Milan compared to the sporting director currently being considered for next season, namely the arrival of Fabio Paratici. Fabio Paratici and Max Allegri have already collaborated at Juventus. Beyond the fact that it worked well, it's especially essential to see a coach and a sporting director who can get along.

One of the problems we saw at Milan this season was the lack of mutual support between Ibrahimovic, who was, in quote, the Red Bird advisor but who also had the role of sporting director, and his coaches, whether Paulo Fonseca or Sergio Conceiçao. When they were winning, they were as if they were best friends. However, with each poor performance, we felt there was absolutely no support from the sporting director for his coach. Fonseca felt very alone in his fight, and that's what we feel now with Conceiçao.

An example of mutual respect and mutual support that has led to success is Milan's 2022 title, where Massara, Maldini, and Pioli collaborated but, above all, got along well. These are the aspects we hope to find again at Milan: a coach who has the trust of his players and his sporting director.

I'm not saying that a coach shouldn't have tactics to coach an elite Italian club, but in my opinion, tactics should represent 20% of his abilities. 80% should be focused on management to shape a squad ready to go to war for the club and its supporters.

Sarri may be a good choice, but the problem with him is that he has a personality that doesn't fit well with elite clubs like Milan or Juve, and in fact, it ended badly at one of his clubs. At Chelsea, he struggled to create a style of play, often linked to internal problems within the club.

Taking De Zerbi now is a risk, given that he coaches an elite French club, namely Marseille. The Marseille press is currently hard on him, judging him for not having truly established a fundamental style of play and not meeting the fans' expectations. He's also criticized for his authoritarian nature in training, which may displease some Marseille players. De Zerbi is at a club that has the same sporting standards as Milan. They want to win, but above all, to play well. They're winning at the moment, but Marseille fans expect more from the coach. If he succeeds at this club, then, in two years, we could say he's ready to coach a club like Milan.

Allegri isn't a coach Milan should build for the long term, but for a short-term project. He's a coach who will rely solely on his management to motivate his team and little on tactics. This can be a major flaw, but at a club like Milan, the important thing is that the players feel involved in the club, and his management can help with that.

I know this is a long story I just wrote, but I wanted to give my point of view on your video.

To be fair, De Zerbi took a well built team by Graham Potter. So he didn't establish that teams success and we all know how horrible his defence is. Allergi is the short term man true to teach them some discipline and character but not to hand it to De Zerbi.

I believe Allegri will do fine, not great maybe but will bring some stability and we will be a regular top 3 or max (no pun intended) 4 team.

We have fast players to accommodate the counterattacking football. If he can fix the defense and bring some discipline, we will be alright.

RDZ is a more exciting name though for sure.

I believe he would do it without hesitation. He would LOVE to inflict revenge on Guintoli and the way he was ran out of Juventus. But is he the right manager for Milan? Only if they have a great counter attack looking to push the ball up instead of playing the ball back to the centre backs. He will certainly improve Milan's defense. This could be make or break for Milan coming from a Giuventino. He was the scapegoat for our problems, I miss Massimiliano! But I believe De Zerbi is better because he is die-hard Milanista having came through in their academy.

hajj can u do a vid on Leao cos i feel like hes a Salah in the sense that he's not involved in the game but brings G/A. But he also doesn't press which is something that i don't think modern coaches will tolerate. Especially a Sarri or a De zerbi. Imo its time to cash out and get 120 Ms reinvest and also move pulisic to the left. Or bing Felix to the left so that he can operate in that pocket of space rather than congestion the half space that reijnders utilises.

If we’re to go for de Zerbi, I would rather risk it with Italiano. He’s done well with Fiorentina and now at Bologna

Disagree on Conceicao and De Zerbi. You have such double standards. Conceição has actually won something. De Zerbi has not managed a top level team ever. Conceição teams also play good football. De Zerbi punched above his weight? Conceição has beaten so many top teams with his low quality side.
