make sure you use an oem wing mirror, it has the temp sensor in and if the replacement doesn't have it you will have dpf issues later

A great tip Stu. The lumpy bit sticking out opposite the sliding door at head level can be removed matey. Cleans up the lines when lining the van. 👍🏼🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Just found your channel. Liked and subscribed to all notifications. We've just bought a 2020 Peugeot Boxer exactly the same as this one. Not started the convertion yet but so pleased I found this channel before I started. Looks like I've got a binge watch session coming up. Thanks for all the great detailed information.

I put a 240v fridge in mine, thermostat has a feed from the leisure battery, then a feed from the stat. To an inverter via a relay. Which then powers the compressor. Works a treat. Got the larder fridge from Trago in Merthyr. About 5 amps a day consumption. So much cheaper than going for a 12v fridge.

Looking forward to watching this series. Ive just got a 2015 relay. Solar on, windows in and sound deadening done. Onto my floor, insulation and first fix electrics in next few weeks. First time doing anything like this but its been fun so far.

Hey Stu
I think you should have kept the old plywood just for being able to make templates from for the bac doors, walls, floor etc. To make to work easier for you

Little tip buy genuine wling mirror not aftermarket reason being aftermarket do not come with outside temperature sensor which will stop DPD regeneration

You can get single driver seat and base from Europe. Very cheap. Did this for my transporter. As there is an abundance of them and no one from uk seems to think all the single driving seats are our passenger side. 😊

Have a look behind the panel just behind the drivers seat. You might have a “converters socket” that has a fused connector for the leisure battery dc to dc connection

Hoping our wbay purchase door mirrors at £66 do the job for our long version mirrors smashed off on the Harlech road the other day. Will be drilling a hole if required for the temp sensor!
