This is a whole new level of ridiculous. My children have summer birthdays, and we have always had their birthdays outside. I don't think I've been able to turn off the sun even once.

Also, the song we all use was written in the 1800s by the Hill Sisters, and the lyrics were penned in the early 1900s. Before that cultural phenomenon and the globalization of culture around the world, there was no uniform birthday tradition. I want to know where this guy got any of this from.

what's ironic is that in Greece, we have our own version that goes like this:
May you live, (insert name here), and many years! May you become old, with white hair. Everywhere you will spread the knowledge's light, and everyone will say "What a wise man!"
