Live: Biden goes to Michigan to rally support for infrastructure

US President Joe Biden is visiting an Engineering Apprentice Training Fund facility in Michigan, a state he flipped from Republican to Democratic in 2020, to rally support for infrastructure bill and agenda.

The president will speak in Howell about the bipartisan infrastructure bill and his so-called Build Back Better agenda which has been the source of a bitter dispute in Congress in recent weeks.

While there is cautious optimism about recent progress, no deal had been struck to bridge stark divides between moderates and progressives in the Democratic Party on the size and scope of the package.
