Hi. I can't seem to get it to function as an actual background image.

If I try to add a label after adding the background image, the background image goes over the top of the label even though the label was packed after the image. I've tried like 20 methods and this always happens. Specifically I have a notebook with tabs and I want to make the background of each tab the same image, but whatever I try the image just goes over the top of the notebook and all my widgets, or it doesn't show at all.

Clearly I am not understanding something so if you can point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated
