Kody has lied a lot on Sister Wives in order to portray himself as a loving husband and father. However, him claiming love should be multiplied not divided was not only a huge lie but an objective impossible feat to accomplish in polygamy.

I don't think polygamy has anything to do with marriage for love, they are marrying for gaining numbers related to wives and children to reach goals for eternity.

I never believed him. He said he was a repeat offender of getting married. He liked the idea of getting married, and being allowed to repeatedly marry, but not working at any of the relationships.

I wish they would reinterview the folks with whom he went to school to said, "he needed to be the center of attention" and I'm not surprised he would get involved in a religion that would put him in the center of his family. Actually, I'd like to see him go to another school reunion and have to say, three of my four wives LEFT ME.

I think heterosexuality is another one of Kody's biggest lies. His high school buddies alluded to suspicions of homosexuality and I think it explains some of his disrespect and hostility toward women.

This gets to the core issue with polygamy. You are resigning your children to a life of making do with scraps. I would imagine as the kids got older they become resentful each time another child was born and most definitely after another wife with a pre existing family was brought in to absorb more of your fathers time and more of the families resources. It’s one thing for grown adults to choose to live this way but it is very unfair to kids who have no choice.

I truly believe Kody used Meri Jenelle and Christine. Once he realized they could make him money where he didn’t have to work hard or at all , he was all in. Then he met Robyn and he used them to support her so she didn’t have to work. I too bought into him the first few seasons and thought he was a good dad and a good husband to all. I was dead wrong. His true colors came out during Covid and he will never be able to make all that he has done to these women and the kids right. He used them all and it’s disgusting.

Too bad he also lost at being a breadwinner for the wives and children he had. Not saying the woman shouldn't or couldn't work but it seems like the OG3 were much harder workers than Kody and definitely Robin. And if the OG3 didn't work, they definitely would have struggled so much more. Can you imagine the og3 & kody with the og13 as teens and young adults without the show

I still try to understand Kody’s parents deciding to adopt a polygamous lifestyle after having children and obviously at least one older child as Kody was a teenager. Although he went on to also become a polygamist, I have to imagine that would mess with a kids mind. And let’s be truly honest about it, there is no way Kody’s mom didn’t feel like the decision was made because she wasn’t “enough” for her husband. People in a happy healthy marriage don’t decide to suddenly become polygamous.
