In order to win at this game you have yo keep a "chess mentality". For every move that is possible, you have to compute in your mind the sequence of moves that follow and choose the path that leads to a "better" position. Compute 3 or 4 moves ahead before committing. There's definitely a strategy component to this game.

Sorry for seeing this and commenting four whole years later but thank you. Gave me somthing to do lol. I will say I allowed myself to stack like in normal solitaire (let’s say if I had a 6 then If I put a 5 on it they would be a “pair” so I could either move them together or take the bottom one and move it by itself) which is the only way I could win

I love solitaire (and cards in general). I've only ever played "7 solitaire" (solo, anyway), but this'll be a nice way to "shake things up" a bit when one game becomes tedious. 😊

Did a mistake dealing the cards in the beginning. There is 7 cards on the left side 3 rows down. Also, 5 cards on the right side 4 rows down only had 5 cards. Suppose to be 6 cards in each row. Maybe that was your mistake.

Question: If I had a layout of cards like, for example...

And I were to "flip" the cards on the right around in sequence in order to make...

*9, 10, J, Q, K /// 8, 4*

Would that be a legal move or not?

Could you technically move that jack and 10 up to the queen and then move the other queen over to the exposed king, then you would have a blank space to put the king. Then you would have a pile with only a king and a 2 and maybe you could do something with that? Could you do that?

The game was fun i got 4 rows of completed with A's in the middle and K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2. You need i stacks of cards to complete the whole thing with 8 rows with K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 in them but i finished. Thanks for teaching me how to play this game

If you clear a row of the 6 cards next to an Ace can you move a King to that blank spot?
