US Rejects China’s Maritime Claims Over South China Sea

U.S Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that Beijing’s offshore claims across most of the South China Sea is completely unlawful and the world will not allow Beijing to treat the South China Sea as its maritime empire. Reports suggest that China has claimed between 85% - 90% of South China Sea.
