I feel like something is going to happen to Shifu, which will ignite the fire in Tai Lung to fight alongside Po. We saw he still cares about his master in that small moment at the Jade Palace. Without his power, I hope this will be Tai's redemption movie.

Im excited for this but something i dont like is that their adding a new side character for Po to fight with, but the Furious 5 were no where to be seen in this trailer. This will probably be the last KFP movie and to not have them in it seems wrong to me

I’m willing to give this movie a shot since I love these movies. I mean when Puss And Boots 2 trailer came out it was judged and it ended up being amazing! I’m really hoping it’s the same for this movie. And yeah no furious 5 wouldn’t make the movie too good tbh

I really enjoyed this trailer. It got me really excited to see this next installment in the Kung Fu Panda franchise. I thought that the animation looked especially beautiful and very impressive. I am very interested in all the new characters and I can’t wait to see their interactions with Poe and their roles in the movie. I also really like the design and concept behind the new villain chameleon. I think that having the villain being someone who can steal and mimic not just the powers, but the looks of another person can lead to some great visual and poetic storytelling. The only issue I somewhat have with this movie right now is that I’m worried they’re going to waste Tai Lung in some sort of way. I hope he’s not just a cameo and I hope that he has some sort of story in this movie that has do with, Shifu and or Poe, whether it be some sort of final goodbye to the iconic character or a redemption ark of some sort. Also where are the Furious 5?! There was no sight or mention of them throughout this entire trailer.

This trailer didn't particularly grab me, but DreamWorks trailers aren't usually great to me(for instance, I was not excited for Puss in Boots last year from the trailers alone, but it's my favorite film of last year). But I'm still very excited and hope they can pull it off. If not, then at least I jave the first 3, which I still consider to be one of the best trilogies of all time.
