I have the Shure GLX D16 and have been using it for live performance for about 7-8 years now and can positively tell you it is the best wireless guitar system on the market. Easy to use as it automatically finds the best signal for wherever you are. The housing is made of thick sturdy metal (not cheap plastic) and the built in guitar tuner is accurate....no need for a separate tuner. The rechargeable battery life last forever (8-10 hours) of charge for any performance!! Nothing else on the market compares to Shure!!! Get it or you'll be sorry!! :)

the documentation lacks important information such as: 1) latency 2) what groups are for 3) using GLX-D+ with legacy GLX-D systems (how to avoid conflict onstage)... 4) it mentions "group 4" that does not exist. so @Shure, please update your documentation, it's wrong/incomplete.

As a vocalist, I've used this unit 3 times at theaters and it does not work . I really wanted this to be the unit the I could use on tour, but sadly it has not met the expectations. This may work fine for small clubs, but unfortunately does not work larger venues. Sorry Shure..No Bueno!
