This is a comparison video with three cameras roughly synchronized capturing a time-lapse on the night sky of May 2-3, 2021. The large Allsky image is from a Lumix GH3 mirrorless camera with a 4mm F2.8 circular fisheye lens at 4K resolution 25second exposure and 30 second interval. The smaller color Allsky video is from an ASI120MC-S astro camera with a 1.55mm F2.0 circular fisheye lens at 720P resolution with auto-exposure and a 60 second interval. The monochrome video is from a IMX291 IP camera with a 4mm F0.95 lens at 720P resolution with an effective 10second exposure and interval. This camera is used for meteor detection and tracking and can capture video of meteors at 25fps.

Wow...I am surprised but very, very pleased with what you got. I say surprised because I just got into this and didn't realize something like a GH3 could be used. Now I know. Very cool - thanks for sharing!

Hello, I am working an a similar system using a CANON EOS Rebel XSi (modified BW IR) at La Palma Observatory; I really like your system. Does the camera software allows you to take 100secs exposure continuosly and store the images directly in the computer? Thanks!

What view is asi120? And did you any extra additional gears like a Pi or just the camera? Thanks in advance

Hi, which sensor gives a better picture of ASI120MC-S or IMX291?

guessing you have auto-gain for the 120? Im working with a 290mc and worried that the morning will blow out, making the morning sky blow it out, making an un-viewable morning sky milkyway shot (my goal) at the end of the timelapse

Hi there,

Is the lens used on the 120MC not the one that came included with the camera, this is an even shorter one focal lenght-wise?
