I almost gave up on my music career...

Are you an intermediate guitarist who has been stuck in a soloing rut for years? Or even decades?

If the answer is yes, then I’m guessing you’ve grown tired of playing the same licks over and over again…

This course teaches you how to ditch your stale, repetitive licks and instead, begin playing tasteful guitar solos that ooze melody and feel!

The best part? You can learn how to do this WITHOUT learning ‘exotic’ guitar scales, wasting hours trawling through YouTube lessons, or spending a penny!

That’s right, I’m giving this course away for zero dollars (for the time being…), so act today to grab it with free, lifetime access.

Here’s a tip-of-the-iceberg overview of the main benefits you can expect to experience when you study the curriculum of “Melodic Soloing With Triads”:

✅ You’ll move beyond the limitations of a purely scale-based approach to guitar soloing… so that you can stop feeling stuck inside scale patterns and boxes

✅ You’ll learn to target the notes that create a strong connection between your licks and the chords they are played over… so that you can stop playing repetitive un-musical licks and begin crafting melodies

✅ You’ll stop aimlessly wandering the fretboard, hoping to land on notes that sound good… and start improvising with the confidence of a pro-level guitarist, who always knows which notes to target for an epic solo

I did quit my musical career. I was struggling guitar player in LA in 1988 and I realized I just wasn’t good enough or creative enough to last in the business. I quit the three bands I was in. I entered myself back into college, finished up college went on to more college and then went onto more college. Best move I’ve ever ever made my life. I never left music completely. Occasionally I’ll play with a core group of musicians and a pick up band every now and again. Worked out well for me.

Ross, thank you for sharing your journey in such an open way. It’s hard to find someone who is as genuine as you about wanting others to grow. I am inspired by this, for my guitar playing and for the rest of my dreams.

I'm getting ready to make the move to Nashville. It's terrifying, but hearing your story motivates me to both make the move and get back on the YouTube grind! (it's been quite awhile...😅)

So glad to see you chasing your goals, Ross. You’re a young man, with the flexibility to do something crazy, embrace the opportunity.

Your take on “comfort zones” is a good one. When you are older, with a family depending on you, you may (rightfully) place more emphasis on stability/comfort. But for now, take some chances, embrace incremental growth, and see where it takes you.

Hey Ross. I bought your course and am enjoying it very much. And thanks for the free melodic soloing course. It fits well with everything else. The southern states have been calling me as well. I live in Canada, which is not what it used to be. I think I'll book a trip down south and see what happens. Thanks for the vid. Oh, Im 48. Never too late for anyone who reads this.

Good for you Ross, it is a huge decision and one that I made myself. I moved from Tayport, I'm a Fifer😊 back in1979. Not as a musician, I work for G.M. in Detroit. I felt the same way, If I don't take this opportunity I would always regret it. I took up guitar late in life, wish I had when I was younger, but I totally love the journey that I am on. Wishing you all the best on your journey and I will be following along.

Ross, you truly are an inspiration to so many. You are an amazing player, but it's your dedication to the craft, and your bravery to take yourself out of the comfort zone that inspires. You're in a town full of the World's best pickers, but I think you will rise to the top because you are not afraid of the hard work it will take. The competition around you will only drive your playing level up, so go for it. I wish you huge success and happiness.

Also I started to practice the Triads course a couple of weeks ago, and I feel like am finally improving, it takes time and concentration, but am getting there😁As you said, the more time we put in, the best results we get.

When I was 17, I played 6 hours a day for close to 6 months until I had obtained enough levels for the pros I knew to say I had “potential” to be pro. But my parents dissuaded me to continue on that path. At 32 years old, I decided to pick up the guitar again, but I tried to go back to gigs too quickly and got fired from a band I had recently joined. I just lacked of practice, needed to get back to the roots of my learning but couldn’t admit it back then. Now I am 35, 2 kids, a nice job and a stable income, and I finally feel ready to go back to guitar seriously (work from home policy helps spare some time for daily practice). Will take my time to progress but my aim is to reach the “Pro level” I’ve never had within 2 to 3 years from now. Look forward to seeing how your course contributes to this!

Ross, thanks for your honest words, you strike me as an honest human being not only as a musician, but also as a great person, it would be an honor to see you play, so with my wife decided to go to Nashville and attend one of your gigs, where could we find you on the last week of november? BTW we're from Argentina Thanks again!

I was sitting in my studio one day some years ago, just noodling on YouTube when this baby faced wee boy wearing a big pair of glasses popped up in a video thumbnail on my screen with a guitar lesson theme that caught my eye.

His accent was like mine (ok, I forgave the Edinburgh slant, as I'm a proud Glaswegian. Ha ha.) and he played guitar damn good that I almost just hung up my own expensive Strat and gave up right then and there.

This kid, Ross Campbell, wiped the floor with my decades of mediocre playing, despite me having worked in the industry for decades as a producer/audio engineer (my actual trade) with major international names around the world.

I subscribed immediately and bought his course to support him. We became email pals too.

I'm thrilled for you, pal. And, of course as always, I'm beaming with pride for you.

To watch one of my own countrymen, though I'm actually based in Australia, achieve what you have, especially such a decent dedicated young man like you, Ross, seriously swells my heart, brother.

Meanwhile, I'm still a shit guitarist in my lifelong journey. I only have my chaotic life and myself to blame for that. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

You fly high, pal. Scots Wha Hae!!!!

Ross, thank you so much for this video. I’ve learned so much from you, both in terms of improving my guitar playing as well as building up my confidence and knowledge concerning advancing my career in music. I’m planning on moving to Nashville sometime around next fall. Would love to come out to a show of yours, maybe grab a coffee. Regardless, thanks for all the valuable information and experiences. Cheers!!
