I just started re reading Dracula for the holiday. I forgot how good it is even though it is so old.

I've been eyeing those two Ladybirds over your shoulder for the last few weeks.

The cloth bound is the same edition I have 😊. When I get classics I’m always looking for extras. That one has an interview with Churchill, writings from Stokers mom, his correspondence with Walt Whitman and some other extras. That’s part of the fun of having those classics to me. My copy of Camilla discusses society at that time. I just really love seeing the whole picture. We get to see the effect those novels have had throughout history, but it’s fascinating to think of the times then.
Really love these short videos you do, it’s a great idea and hopefully doesn’t take much time, I hope they keep coming.

I’ve been looking for something good and dark to read, it’s just that time of year….I’ve never read Dracula from start to end, maybe that is what I will do…

love those clothbounds, i've got dorian grey, on the road, frankenstein, moby dick, the masque of the read death, the lottery and metamorphosis i need confederacy of dunces because thats my fav. i didn't finish dracula, although i love the story, and the way it is assembled from varying accounts and formats, i think the pacing killed my interest. i also love collecting those ladybird books, my fav being the button moon-like making dolls
