A day without migrants, the Mary Ward Centre, December 18th

🇨🇦 Migrants and migrant workers significantly contribute to Canadians' daily lives and the economy. We enjoy the fruits of their labour daily in many ways and everywhere, but we must be aware of their outstanding contribution. Migrants pay taxes, care for families, heal, nurture, create art, develop technology, protect communities, and contribute to science, among other significant contributions.
That is why today, December 18, International Migrants Day, from Mary Ward Centre, we are enjoying the campaign "A day without migrants", which is an opportunity to think about what a day without migrants would be like.
