I used to do that and with clothespins. Now, I vacuum seal the top everytime some is eaten. I also put chips, cookies...etc in large ziploc bags. They keep 2-3 times longer than chipclips

I have a laundry hack for people with OCD like me. I love doing laundry, and my adult children sometimes take advantage of that fact and will bring dirty clothes to wash at my house. But I always lose my hangers. I started going to Old Navy and ask for their discarded hangers, which they happily give me since they just toss them in the trash. I use hot glue gun and put 5 dots of glue on each shoulder part of the hanger so the clothes don't slip off.

Good idea if you get those kind of hangers. What I do is buy a huge pack of clothes pins from the dollar store. You get like 100 for a dollar

Listen, did you know you can fold a bag in such a way that it will stay closed on it's own? Fold the corners toward you then roll the top down away from you, then flip up the pockets formed. Look up a video. You can also use clothes pins and even rubber bands

Another thing I've been doing for years! They are good for a lot of things; flour badass, those plastic sugar/being sugar bags, bags of frozen fries, vegetables and spaghetti packages. I've got a box of those. I keep some of the hangers without breaking them off too. I use the hangers to clip my wet dish cloths and sponges then haha then to air dry. ~🤫 I've got a mildew phobia 🤫~
