The trees are magnolias. They usually have a very strong perfume.

Those trees at 17.45 look like Magnolias, some also have a beautiful aroma. Take care!

I walked my 14 year old on the coastal route last summer. She thought it was tough. Yesterday morning she mentioned that she was looking over the pictures, and forgot how beautiful it was.

In about 100 days, I’m going to take her to the French route, and walk from Saint Jean Pied de Port to Santiago de Compostela.

I’ve walked different variation of the Portuguese routes, 6 times over the years. They’re great routes for just chilling out, and thinking. Not super busy. Beautiful scenery and nice people.

Bom Caminho!

If Tia likes Jane Austen you guys should consider another uk stop for her 250 anniversary celebrations this year
Love your positivity despite the less than obliging weather
Those trees are beautiful Magnolias and yes gorgeous flowers

That rain to sizzle transition was chefs kiss! Can’t wait to see your finished postcard in the letter box Tia! And I think it’s a magnolia tree.

Your editing is also the work of an artist! The music combined with the fountain really was magical! Both of you have talents that have been nurtured during your travels, and will serve you well for the rest of your lives.

17:15 lol, you talking about a pilgrimage not being a holiday is kind of funny to me. I learned recently that in the Middle Ages, while it was an act of faith to travel to a religious site, many pilgrims also treated it as a holiday because travel didn’t happen that often. Pilgrims would try to travel during the best times of the year. The Canterbury Tales was about a group of pilgrims like that.

Also, I’ve been very sick today and not in the mood for drama. Your travel vlogs are the perfect mood setter for me. Thanks guys!

P.S. Cheveyo saving a chocolate and a biscuit for Tia in case she got sad is the sweetest gesture ever.

I like your laid back style. It feels like you show your authentic personalities which is great.

The weather forecast on the BBC describes that annoying light rain as mizzle - can't make it's mind up whether it wants to stay as mist or commit to being drizzle.
You end up wet anyway, either from the slow accumulation of rain, or because the poncho makes you sweat...
It is the perfect weather to go jogging in though.

Love the moody misty trail, with its accompanying soundscape. Your warm, happy appreciation of each other and where you are and what you're doing. A privilege to join you vicariously. Thank you ❤

Don’t think any day is a crappy day. You’re alive with each other doing something you’ll remember the rest of your days. To have a partner that you love doing something like this is the best day ever. I’ll win the post card sometime. Take care of each other.

NO BAD DAYS❤

With all the drama from the Donald and his tarrifs, it must be truly amazing to just wander with a person you love in another country without many cares, except where the next food stop is, I am envious and regret that my old bones and my tiny budget will stop me from ever doing this walk, thank you for taking me along in your pockets, love and light from down under in Perth, Western Australia. 😀✅👣

Loved the entire video but my favourite part was the small piece of
Mason Williams, Classical Gas almost at the end, still got the vinyl album that I bought in 1968, 🎵🎶🎼💜💜 and I still play it on the turntable & amplifier that I've owned since 1978, before the disposable society of recent times. Non of the blue tooth crap, just good ol' fashioned technology.

My mum has those trees in her garden in NZ. We call them tulip trees, but that's probably not their actual name. Also just FYI to anyone in the US, you can get those Spanish tortillas frozen at Trader Joe's! They're really good and such a good post-workout lunch.

This video is so soothing. Walking in the rain through all that beautiful nature is probably more romantic on screen than it is in reality, but honestly, this is such a cool journey you're on.
Tia, getting a peek at the creative process you apply to your art was really lovely. You're very talented.
Also, i dont know if you've noticed, but you guys are closing in on 100k! I'm so happy that your community is growing ❤

Got home an hour ago. Checked the letterbox to find my postcard had arrived! Cool to look at it, while watching you while you were drawing it. Again, an amazing postcard ❤
