How does retained profit count as a liability? Surely a profit is an asset to the bank? Retained profits are not specifically paid back to owners all the time - they can be used to finance the activities of the bank

isnt q2 B as it says express in 2015 prices? 290/100 x100 =290 x 0.9 = 261 as there is a 10% price index increase between the years

For question 2, if the price index goes from 100 to 110, then this would mean that inflation was 10%. So if nominal GDP was 290, then why is it that decreasing this value by 10% doesn't yield the right answer?
