Trader Joe's is selling new grain free cat food in two varieties - salmon recipe and turkey recipe. Let's take a look at the ingredients and feed them both to the cats. Will the cats eat this food? Will they like one flavor better than the other?

Yay!!! All four cats approved. Boo loves his can food. I wish I could get Marty to eat more wet food but all he wants to eat is dry food. I offer it to him at least once a day sometimes he'll eat it but most of the time he'll take a couple of bites if that and walk away. Any ideas are welcome.

My kittens like this food. We got it to just try it. I’m going to keep using it as one of the budget friendly foods. But the other foods are merrick and nulo.

Boo was hesitant at first to eat with the group, but the temptation of the canned food was too great. Splash has to concentrate by sampling the new food away from the others, to fully analyse it's quality or lack there of. A full report of his findings will follow shortly.

What's wrong with natural flavor? I would assume it was either salmon or turkey.

Well the indoor cats enjoyed the food even Splash tried and enjoyed the food. OK Boo had to have crunchies sprinkled on his food. What about the fussy older boy outside? Will Hydrox be trying some new foods as well to try tempt him to eat or getting extra crunchies in the feeder so it feeds 2 cats and some for the various visitors? None of us want to waste any food but its difficult if you have a fussy eater or two. Even where the plate is put makes a difference. Just keep trying to tempt them LF. Its a good thing we love our cats even if they are being fussy. Love, purrs, cuddles and kisses for all
