In this video we shall discuss the ratio of numbers and how to find relationship between three or four numbers .

hree numbers are in the ratio of 3:5:7. If their sum is 840, what are the 3 numbers?

The numbers
3,5 and 7 are in the ratio 3 :5 :7
, but their sum is just 3 + 5 + 7 = 15

So to get a sum of 840 , 1st Divide 840 by 15 we get 56
Now to get 1st number multiply 3 with 56 ,we get 168

Now to get 2nd number multiply 5 with 56 ,we get 280
Now to get 3rd number multiply 7 with 56 ,we get 392
so 168 , 280 and 392 are three numbers whose sum is 840 and are in 3:5:7
