Great watches. Also great modding community. Amazing engineering went into this watch design- the Kremlin wanted a 200m WR diver that did not use any western patents or specialized machinery- those who were tasked with designing it came up with some amazing solutions. The two piece caseback, the clutch in the crown, the shape of the crystal...the whole thing is a nod to elegant engineering.

The Vostok has an interesting history, clever design features and looks great on a NATO strap. On the down side the lume is feeble, the plastic crystal is easily scratched and the quality control is hit and miss. My Vostok stopped running after one year. Disappointed 😕
