1. His definition is wrong

2. I don't believe you need to be qualified to determine what you want your own kids to learn in school. For instance, those who don't even know what CRT is, but support their kids learning it🤷🏿‍♂️

3. Imo, CRT is an overcorrection. It's more appropriate to just teach accurate history, etc. That said, the whole of everything in global society doesn't necessarily revolve around race.

ya i stand with kenneth the issues dividing our country are often far more complicated than a black and white story no pun intended. we are teaching our children and our society a culture of victimization, whether or not that victimization is real means nothing in the eyes of what is physically binding you from life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. theres an old saying, sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me, its funny how this old proverb designed to teach us to stand up for ourselves despite what others may think or say has become such a decisive topic. being somewhat young they tried to change this in my school by saying the opposite. at the end of the day everybody has hardships whether mental or physical and whether or not those hardships are lesser or greater than any other is up to god to judge and does not grant you any rights over anybody else such as who can be racist, or who is better or worse in society just by the color of our skin, we are all human. whats sad is that all these trivial topics are designed to push us to the edge of extremism and often the truth lies somwhere in the middle, and all are pandered to us by corporate media are distracting us from the far worse problems in our society in order to gain corporate interest, profit and pander to the 1% who have a messiah complex and strive to shape the world in there own evil ways. we are being divided on purpose. spread love to even your enemy and strive to teach love. may god save us all.

The best way to deal with deniers of the past is to agree that lessons on black history be removed or CRT be removed and then ask them if economic racism and research and industry racism has stopped as a result.

Van is such a good interview with such a great temperament - I disagree heavily with Kenneth but if you want to change people's minds, you gotta locate where their mind is first. Hopefully one day he'll look back at this interview and be embarrassed.

If you feel like death or enslavement is a choice, then yeah it was a choice at like the first generation of enslaved people. The second generation and every generation after didn't have a choice. The first person who learned how to read and understand what was going on. Had a choice. If you are born into a messed up reality you take it as normal until you understand that it is not. Then you have an informed choice. Some of our ancestors day one was like na. Died that day and some escaped that week. It wasn't a well oiled enslavement engine until decades after the idea was put forth and enacted. Too many non blacks and some blacks don't realize the people who were left to be enslaved were born and bred into that system.
