Aerate Topdress Overseed

Aeration and overseeding is the typical routine for fall time in cool season lawns. This year, I decided to add an extra step of topdressing with sand. This accomplishes 2 things: filling the aeration holes (helps with drainage, root development, etc) and helps level low spots and bumps in the lawn.
This is something commonly done with lawns that are mowed with a reel mower. After this I decided to do an overseed with some good grass seed.

I am glad to know it works on sand. I have a job to do. Leveling and this can help me spread evenly.

I have that corona as well, the best manual aerator I've had. I tried two other designs before and they were junk. Good timing on the video, renting a large aerator this morning to do my entire yard and 2 family members

I level my lawn after seeing this video. I used over 2 tons of sand and I was able to spread it in 3 hours using the Landzie. Thank you sir!

I core areated my lawn yesterday.. 10h and 350m2. Every 15-20cm and 10cm wide between the paths. My neighbors most think I am nuts. Man it was hard work, but it was satisfying somehow. Tomorrow it is time for topdress !
