The G League Is Better Than NCAA Basketball according to Gilbert Arenas!! Players like Victor Wembanyama and Scoot Henderson will enter the NBA much more skilled than NCAA Players simply because they were given the time to hone their skills

Shout out to Lavar Ball. He made NBA invest into the G league

Wow, he changed my perspective. I think college is still the better option simply because of the college experience and all the memories/connections you make along the way. However, in terms of basketball, the G league is the best place to go for outta high school players. I just realized that for some reason, damn😂.

College for sure. Especially if you play all 4 years, you get a degree to fall back on if you don't get drafted or your NBA career gets cut short due to injury...

While I think G-League might be better for development I believe college is better for exposure and building your brand. Being at a big time college you’re on tv twice a week for 4-5 months. While in the G-League your only real exposure is arenas in small towns with almost no tv exposure

I just realized that Scoot is very Gilbert-esque a little bit hibachi era but definitely when you look back at Gil at Zona vs where Scoot is now at 19. Then I realized that Gil deserves a credit from all these “combo guard” aka ‘6’3/6’4 should be a PG but shoots 3x-5x as much as they pass’ niggas who been making A LOT of money. Brad Beal/Donovan Mitchell/CJ McCollum/CJ’s lil brother Anfernee Simons/Jalen Green/Tyrese Maxey/Collin Sexton/Jordan Clarkson.

Agent0 was definitely the first PG we’d seen have the quickness/speed/athleticism in college who then after growing another 1.5 inches/goin from 190 to 210/developing a back to the basket game vs smaller guards his first couple of years in the league, combined all of that elite parking lot range shotmaking. Instead of getting you 18-20ppg + 8-10apg gave you 26-30ppg then 5-6apg with all assists coming at critical times because of the defense’s gravity towards Gil and Gil’s range making it so teams had to try to force the ball away from Gil EARLY.

The two best PG’s of the post CP3 generation hands down are Dame and Steph. Both are parking lot range shooters who add insane value with their opposing defensive gravity alone leading to easy offense for others that doesn’t show up as a stat. Both terrify you as scorers first because they make a high % of tough shots in every perimeter situation, with both also being amongst the best PG finishers inside where in Dame’s case he’s sneaky athletic leading to poster dunks/switch hands finishes whereas Steph is sneaky long and crafty effectively score inside.

The 2 best PG’s post CP3 hands down, Scoot’s development, and how CJ McCollum got a 3yr $100M extension for 21/4 playin next to prime Dame is all Hibachi influence.

Honestly in my opinion the best road ro me seems like play 2-3 years in the college league and then go to the G-League. The college ball experience gives you the exposure you need especially if you go to a big time school or make a Cinderella run during March Madness (think FAU and their star players Johnell Davis and Alijah Martin). Then go to the G-League to start your journey to the NBA in terms of training.

It honestly depends on the athlete. Some don’t need college but want the college experience. So go to a Duke Kentucky Kansas and be on espn twice a week and make tourney. G league is not on tv like that.

All depends on what you’re playing the game for bags or rings

I would have to see the numbers. For some reason I think most players on NBA roster came from draft

Young kids need to develop other skills besides run, jump, and shoot.

Cmon G league is shit. Scoot is just a special one. Imagine a 5 star player like Jalen green, go straight to g league, basically he will still play like it was in high school. Cuz they r described as NBA top prospect on the news, n finally they just be like jalen green, a player who only wannna score in every game, n never search for teammates, never used their brain to play.
