Arianespace - Soyuz 2.1b - VS26 Galileo 27 & 28 - Guiana Space Center - December 5, 2021

An Arianespace Soyuz rocket, designed VS26, will launch on a mission from the Guiana Space Center in South America. The Soyuz will carry two Galileo full operational capability satellites for Europe’s Galileo navigation constellation. The Soyuz-2.1b (Soyuz ST-B) rocket will use a Fregat upper stage.

The first launch attempt was scrubbed on October 2 because of an issue with a tracking vessel, the second attempt was scrubbed 10 minutes before the launch due to bad weather. Now it is planned to launch Soyuz on December 4.

09:19 p.m. Kourou time,
00:19 a.m. Universal time (UTC), on December 5,
01:19 a.m. Paris time, on December 5,
03:19 a.m. Moscow time, on December 5.
