as a old school 454/455 swapper into g-bodies you can use stainless steel washers to shim the motor mounts off the frame by. 025-.045 to raise the motor in the bay to buy room. or same method between the block and mounts using longer grade 8 bolts

For anyone doing an LS swap use this cast-iron headers instead of those cheap eBay ls swap headers that will burn up your spark plug boots

HED-45000 is what we used a couple times they bolt and fit fine no denting there husler mid length. Cheap and good. Gbody ls swap

I did a LS swap into a 78 Buick Regal. I am going to run a Procharger. It's street/strip. I'm researching headers now. I am thinking of shortys vs. long tube. The passengers side was the problem when I ran long tubes with a SBC in it. Concerned about the swap because I don't think any companies guarantee a fit. Would shortys loose allot of power with my procharger D1X? Curious about anyone's thoughts on this. Car been down for over 2 years and I want to get it up ASAP.

I love the performance and sound of long tubes. If long tube headers didn’t help give the vehicle any performance gain then pro drag racers would not use them and they would swap to stock manifolds or shorty headers.
