Just flew your setup all I could gather from vid (freeeze vids) and what you specifically talked about setting, put it on on 0.3.1 without some of which is not avail on 0.3.1 vs 0.1.0 and prefect still. The rates flying indoors on first test went so well that I just could not overshoot any stick move, fantastic job!!!

Maybe this is a good explanation, it's like you have an elastic band between your fingers and sticks, so the Correction is how taut the band it, and Weight is like having stiffer sticks.

This is what I wanted too. Currently we use D and FF to achieve the same thing. I think we should separate it, so the pids follow perfectly, and then we manipulate setpoint to taste.

FF, FF Transition, RC Smoothing, and Actual rates achieve nearly everything that this setup is intended to, but isn't laid out the same way, or listed with that stated goal set. I'm not here to be part of the 'Emuflight does more renaming of existing features than adding new ones', but that I'm happy how parallel development directions can actually both achieve amazing results, and this layout for how to approach (and have numbers that make sense, vice needing to understand a fair bit of what's going on with the back end to use those tools in BF.4.2)

Four words: This ... is ... stick ... PIDs!

7:50 - what you explained is a textbook explanation of P.I. and D. So since these are the easiest numbers to understand, that means PIDs are too! Sweet!! ✊

Just call a spayd a spayd. It is a PID controller between your fingers and the main controller that drives the quad. So you have things processing in this order: Rates --> Stick PIDs --> Quad PIDs. Oh, and also Filters which can have some effect on feel too (minor, but it is there especially if way out of whack).

Thanks for the explanation. New to fpv and using emu on my mob6. This will help a lot.

There is something about listening to you talk that is soothing. Lol. Also switching to dji, I’m excited. Going with the iFlight Titan XL5 which is a bit different than the DC5 that you reviewed.

I have gotten away from fpv mostly because betaflight and raceflight has made this hobby so political this is gonna make me try and fly again. Thanks Kabab Fpv.

Great video, would be awesome to se you test the dynamic rates on TP3 and on a 5" freestyle

I hope I can use these without screwing up the feel of my quad, I've got it feeling just how I like it. I think maybe this is something I'll try during winter. I want to concentrate on flying during the summer and not spend all time getting my quad feeling right on new firmware.

Emu 0.2.0 has been doing it for me no need to jump on the hypetrain like I usually do then regret it immediately!

Great explanation of these new features. I like the longer videos

Very well explained, as always. I think this will be useful for all but, in particular, it will be very useful for someone with shakey hands (someone with Parkinson's, for example). I hope Bruce from RCModelReviews (and XJET) sees this video.

Great video! It's been awhile since I last looked at the Emuflight GUI, and for the life of me I can't figure out how to enable those dynamic rates in the GUI? They're simple not there?

@KababFPV I suppose it is superfluous to ask, but in order to have effective control, it is good to have no function set on the radio for nonlinear transfomation of stick position. Correct?

Cool Cool. I like that 'weight'/d-term? of a saggy battery eitheror lower kv motors myself; it'd be cool to find that feel on lighter craft.

how do you set up sbus_baud_fast=on on Emuflight? my dji fpv system controller won't work. I flashed the FC from betafligh to Emuflight and now the controller tabs doesn't show any move. help please
