Honestly she was very impressive. Great game management, timely timeouts, and that set she drew for the final possession to put her team in position to tie was great

I'm glad we're finally getting to that point where we aren't shutting women out of big positions in the NBA, and are integrating them. Congratulations to Becky Hammons for her position on the Spurs

If she can do the job why not, if she can out coach current NBA coaches why not? If she has high BBall IQ why not?

As a society we ain't ready for this yet. Not to be sexist but if she was to yell at players like pop does how many players in this league are gonna handle it like a professional? Men share a special kind of bond (pause) that female coaches won't be able to bring to the table.

Call me what you will....I, if I were a male professional athlete, would be offended that my team owner forced me to take athletic/competitive advice from a woman.

I think she could handle it. If they do a slow process of giving her more and more time, eventually leading up to her taking the role, then it might work. Plus, do you really think Pop would tolerate any kind of disrespect towards her based on the fact she was a women? He's taught them better than that.

She used to play in Russian national team and in Russian women's league. Now I understand why Pop has chosen her:)

Why didn't she take over in San Antonio or another team. She's in the WNBA now.
