Thanks Kyle.  Installing new rollers as you demonstrated was as easy as shown.  The new rollers made a huge difference!  And doing it myself saved a bunch of $.  Almost anyone can do this themselves.

Good job.
If you run the top roller to the middle of the top track, you can remove it without bending the track because the top tracks are not braced. Just twist out and push up on the door and it will come right out. One of the other youtube garage roller vids shows how.
I like how you bent it on the upright section. Most people bend it way too far. Even without a forming tool, you were able to bend it almost all the way back to the original position.

Thanks, one of the best DIY tutorials out there on door rollers. Don't forget the emergency release to start the replacement process.

I just did this this morning and it was pretty easy. Thanks for the video which let me know how to do this and that it's not difficult, even by yourself.

Great job! Made the for an easy installation and much quieter. Used 3-1 lube on all the roller selves and hinge joints and what a difference. Took maybe 15 mins ladder to ladder. Thanks for making this safe and easy.

Hey Nick, taking the hinges off is a good way also. It is just a lot quicker to pop them out of the track as in the video. Usually it takes maybe 3-5 mins to change them all. The top fixture usually is already adjusted from the previous set over rollers. Thanks for the comments, it gives people other options. There is a lot of different ways things can be done, the main thing for people is to do what seems most comfortable. Thanks again for another way.

Garage door was screeching and groaning with every up and down. after watching a couple different diy videos, yours was far and away the most simple and quick method. I purchased a set of 10 13 ball bearing nylon wheels and had a go of it. everything went quick and smooth. now the door runs as smooth and quiet as it did 6 years ago when it was installed.. total cost including wheels was $13.89! sorry I've waited so long to try this. diy'ers don't hesitate to do this. thanks diygaragedoorparts!

Great video,
Question, I have a lot of noise when opening and closing my garage door, what would it be to change or do to minimize that, please

brilliant, absolutely brilliant. Would you also recommend using white lithium grease while doing this?

I'm glad I saw this video. I have a bag of rollers sitting for almost a week because I was too lazy to do it the way with removing all the hinges. This way seems much easier and I will try it when I get home! I am worried about the one on the bottom which has the cable tension. Your video doesnt show any cable on the bottom, will it still be an issue or can it be done the same way?

Are rollers a standard size or do you have to match them to your door?

Hi Kyle,
I did not explain it well. The plastic cover of the garage door opener motor was making the noise. When I took that rear cover, the noise was much less. I am going to try lining the inside of the cover with a product called Dynamat to see if it makes a difference. Just did not know the cause of the noise. I read another post that experienced the same after replacing his capacitor (same as mine) and he solved or at least decreased the noise level by using Dynamat lining. JG

Installed the 10 rollers with ease. I like the quality. The old rollers I had were the original Martins and had cracked which I thought was causing the noisy door opener. Seems like it is the cover itself and can't find a solution nor could I find an answer thru the web. Any clue Kyle?  Thanks and will buy stuff from you again. Great video tips.

Kyle Hogge, If you get this I would appreciate any feedback. I like your video here on changing out the rollers. I tried it myself but I can't get the old rollers to pop out. I have a 20 yr old wooden garage door. Doesn't seem to have much give. And the door is so heavy I can't hold it while trying to pry out the rollers. Thank you. Cheri F

Thanks, Kyle. Just like you said it was. Track was a little heavier gauge metal...had to use a hammer to tidy up at the end.
