Backpacking and Fishing with the Twins

The Twins, myself, and the dog head out for 3 days into the backcountry. Fishing, carving, and exploring ensue. Some behind the scenes info (for the 2 people that actually read this), I was carefully watching a forest fire somewhat close to where we were located. In fact in some shots you can hear the planes fly nearby as they were fighting the fire. It was far enough away I didn’t feel we needed to leave, but close enough I was keeping my eyes on it.

What a location, Crocket! I see you're still using the Zephyr. I bought mine because of you, and it's kept me warm and dry in some wild conditions. Thank you for that. My kids are camping addicts now. Started them at 3, took 'em out in the cold, let them tend fire. It's the best, man, getting to show them the real world.
