You do realize that cgi didn’t even exist and if your judging the fx by the releases, don’t. The fx are timeless, did you know that the lightsabers you see were real, they had this reflective tape stuff on the blade so when the camera shine light on it, it would appear as a lightsaber. The fx deserve a 10/10

But for the CGI part, you have to know that at the time when a new hope was created, the cgi was the best at this time

It's not the best movie, but the moments like the first time Luke activates his lightsaber or binary sunset are my favorite tho
