And honestly a big tip if you get rejected. Sure it sucks, but its way easier to accept and just move on once you've actually told them how you feel.
When i was in uni i really liked a girl in my class, we got along really well, we would hang out everyday after class and i gave it a month before i decided to ask her out. But legit 2 minutes before i did, we were talking to someone and she mentioned she lived with her boyfriend. In my head i was like Oh well, you win some you lose some" i ended up telling her a few minutes later, saying "yo i was literally about to ask if you were seeing anyone a few minutes ago before you mentioned you're boyfriend haha. But don't worry, i wont make it weird if you don't make it weird" and she completely understood it and were still good friends 3 years later. But after i said it and got a definitive answer, its such a heavy weight off your shoulders, even though its not the best case scenario
