Why are Yellowstone Park Rangers less friendly?

They were all very kind and helpful when we visited 3 years ago.

There is no excuse for Rangers being rude or otherwise unfriendly. Yes, they have to deal with people doing stupid things every day, but they have always had to do that. They can do that and still be friendly.

Sorry this is a little long, Devil's Tower some of the rangers and volunteers are not that friendly either. I was there once on a long vacation 1st an actual ranger demanded I pay because I was sitting in the outside lot waiting for them to open the gate? I had no control over traffic and road conditions getting there 8 hours late and never went into the camping area, 2nd we had a young dog with us 5 months old a volunteer saw me start to unzip my tent she started walking really fast into our site and because she was literally 4-5 from the tent opening the puppy saw her ran out and jumped up on her very friendly, she went completely crazy like I sent the little puppy to attack her? Yelling the dog needs to be on a leash at all times!!!! I'm not trying up a pup in a closed tent she always waits for us when we get up . She thought that person was there for her. I had to tell this employee if she's terrified of little dogs working in a place like devils Tower is not a good idea. You're surrounded by Prairie dogs lol I wasn't nasty just told her how it was I never had a volunteer walk up to us like that before in the early morning, she had no reason we were paid and had the ticket on the Post it was 6:45 am . This was way back in 2018 .
