This is the St. Vitus Cathedral, the largest & the most important temple in Prague and part of the Prague Castle complex. Apart from religious services, coronations of Czech kings and queens also took place here. The cathedral is a place of burial of several patron saints, sovereigns, noblemen and archbishops. There has been a church here since 925 AD and this gothic structure was begun in 1344 by Charles IV. It was eventually completed in the 19th century and consecrated in 1929.
