JRD is single handedly responsible for kick starting many sectors of our economy and that too at the height of Nehru's socialism. As much as I respect and admire Ratan Tata, JRD is the only one above him. Together these two men have made what Tata is today. It's a pity that today's generation does not know and read about how great JRD was and exactly why he got Bharat Ratna. Ratan Tata has been a perfect successor after him and took Tata to new heights. So much to learn from these two great men.
