To sum up you dont need to charge the phone for hours for the first charge

out of the box you would start using the phone until its low on battery, then you would charge it up to 100% to calibrate the battery, next time if you are using fast charging then you could enable the stop charging at 90% in the menu of some phones, because fast charging becomes inefficient above 80% battery power. for less EMF exposure avoid using phones when you charge them

I have a question please, I bought a brand new phone. When I try to turn it on for the first time, the phone won't work. I charged it for half an hour then turned it on, it works!! Honestly, this is the first time I faced things like this in a brand new phone! Usually, the brand new phons come with some charge like around 40 or 50%. Now, my question is, Do I need to be worried about that or that could happen especially if this phone was made last year ( 2021)???
