Structure and Working Principle of Transformer || AC - 10 || in Hindi for Class 12

Показать описание
In this Physics video in Hindi for Class 12 we explained the structure and working of a transformer. We derived the equation for the input voltage and the output voltage. This topic is from Chapter 7 : 'Alternating Current' for Class 12 from NCERT.
Transformer is an electrical device which changes the voltage of an ac source. Its working is based upon faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. It has an input coil known as the primary coil and an output coil known as the secondary coil. The ratio of the input voltage to the output voltage is same as the ratio of the number of turns in the primary coil to that of the secondary coil. That means the voltage in coils is directly proportional to the number of turns in the coil. Whereas, current in the coil is inversely proportional to the number of turns in the coil.
