2024 Honda Africa twin 1100 review, in depth look at electronics

In this video I take a 2024 Honda Africa twin for a ride against my will. Well it turns out I really liked it. This machine completely surprised me in its usability, versatility and calm yet fun nature. It turns out you don't need 200bhp to have fun. I had a really good instructional demonstration from Pete at Blade Honda, Sam from Blade KTM was a good sport too. this whole thing was made possible by the guys over at Blade Group Swindon who let me take the bike for the weekend due to my new KTM not being ready. Hi mate, I have the same model AT but DTC and absolutely love it, 100hp is enough for this type of bike as coming from a 160hp Multistrada thought it might not be but glad I changed. Doing the Swiss Grand Tour on it in a few months and can not wait! Safe travels 👍🏍🏍👍

That model of Africa Twin is around £15000 not £17, 500. I have the same model with the rally pack for an extra £1000 or so that includes lots of stuff including a quick shifter. Great bike!

Salesman got his pricing wrong. Best check. FWIW I just got a new base 24 model, no fancy bits 12k.

Quality wise Honda is definitely the first choice but it lacks the emotional part and that’s why I ride a ‘23 901 Expedition, even knowing the problems KTM is facing with the camshaft’s! 😊❤

that sale man need to lean his product and prices of the models that is a standard model with es also when you turn off the tc and wheelie control panel it not fully of you need to go in to the sub menu

Bike you have is standard africa 1100 with 21inch wheel electronic suspension. You can op for standard suspension on standard 1100cc. Adventure sport now only comes with a dct auto gearbox and have 19 inch wheel only as option in the front. There is no manual option on adventure sport as in road oriented with 19 inch wheel.

Most selling honda bike in UK is 2024 it's 125 cbf... If we're tslking about adventure then it's gs 1250. I still have 1290r any day even I own few bikes.

only ego drives these huge heavy adventure bike sales--- you dont need them but ego makes these geese buy them, when things go to shit you want to be on a drz400, these 240kg tanks are road bikes with knobby tyres
