My wife and I will be joining Voyager on 16/1/25 for a 2 week cruise celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and my wife's birthday on 26/1/25 whilst in St Maarten. As it's a special occasion we have pushed the boat out (apologies for the pun) and have gone for premium seats on the TUI Dreamliner and a large balcony cabin aboard ship. We usually use P&O for our Caribbean cruises but were a little disappointed last year with the level of service and food quality so thought it was time for a change. We have sailed with Marella a few times and have always enjoyed what was on offer. This will be the first time we will be using them for the Caribbean but you have really whetted our appetite with this video. Wishing you and Mafoo a Happy New Year, keep the blogs coming.

Great video Jamie....we were on this ship back in May for a week in the Med. We loved it. Food was good and the staff were amazing.
We're off to the Caribbean on the 7th Jan on Marella Explorer 2. So looking forwad to it and escaping the dark and grey skies here. Can't remember if you have been on Explorer 2?

A different landing in Barbados process if flying on Virgin or B.A. Bonded applies just to TUI- Marella. details will be on the booking form. Marella use TUI, B.A. and Virgin flights to Caribbean. never noticed any "cutbacks" on Voyager. P&O yes for sure cutbacks each cruise with them.

You might point out to anyone who complains about you eating curry in the Carribbean that the locals have their own versions of curries and, so, curries are actually also a local food. I still hear you about "eat what you want when you're on vacation". You're quite right. I'm just saying, curry in the Carribbean is the possibly the least "touristy" thing you could eat.
