the full board two book trick with a mylar is what I learned and the fact that you don't need acid free boxes necessarily

Glad to see you pack 2 books to a bag. I do the same. These things are expensive.

I enjoyed this! As a long time collector (51+ Years) I always use several backing boards for my comics(You will, at some point in your collecting, drop a book or two) and only into Mylites or mylites2. No light on the books is spot on! I do use tape, but I reverse the tape on itself so when the book is pulled out, no tape would come in connect with the book! (I love the FF#1 story by the way as a friend of mine did it with a JIM#83 40+ years ago!) Ouch!!!

I'm not a collector myself, but was looking for info on how to frame and display them and tho I'm a bit sad to learn that I shouldn't do it, I really appreciate all info and knowledge shared! It was very educational! The comic community is so cool and there's so much love and care going on to preserve these stories! Congrats on the channel

"You know she's out there stepping on your comic boxes to get up to the ceiling. She's not using a step ladder." 😂😂😂 Great advice and great video!

For anyone who does want to wall display comic books.
Comic book One Touch are great for that. They can be hung or mounted with ease and they display very nicely.

Re: the dessicant in the comic folio. You could always tape the dessicant to the inside of the lid so it's out of the way of the comics, but still able to work its magic.

For those that buy a lot of comics on line those gemini comic mailers are great for protecting your comics when storing them in your back pack at cons or flea markets.

Living in the valley out here, I'm sure you guys know about our summers! I have all of my collection in my garage that I built into a room. The room is insulated, but it doesn't have the central air in there. I have a plug in LG air unit, and I also added a dehumidifier last year as well.
Love seeing you guys on YouTube! Keep it up! And if you guys open up a forth location, I'd like to apply for manager! (I do have a BS in Business Management!) :)

What about hardcovers and large art books? I don't own many issues. Mostly tpbs that don't fit in the plastic bags
